The reason I place the link for Air America on my blog is not to reflect my liberal ways, but rather to let my readers know that they now have a choice when listening to the media. Let's face it Fox news is the most one sided network this side of the pond, the newspapers are no longer the voice of the free, but the voice of a single very rich owners.

BTW if your not registered to vote check out Rockthevote.com, and print the form.

Air America Radio is online and on air. Click here to listen online.

Good Eats on FoodNetwork is probably my favorite show on this cannel. At one point we watch the channel like religion, but it's all become the same old stuff. Alton brown is the only good thing the channel has left.

In the craziness of the last month, I hadn't looked at my car insurance renewal papers. And because of my wife's car accident last year we have been punished with an unbelievable increase in cost. We had a 2 tier level, now it's a 5 tier hot damn!!!!!

I may have to eat my words, and buy an XBOX. Why, well Knights of the Republic seems the be a kick ass game that I must have. Good part is that the Microcrap is dropping the price, so I wont be contributing that much to Bill Gates billions.

Ok, so the Old Navy Commercials are scary attractive. Do the hustle.

What's up with Adobe, Although Photoshop is a great program I would suggest folks to switch over to another program. Granted GImp is not as robust, I can see Adobe dropping all Mac support in the near future. I can't see how Mac's aren't profitable to them, when 99% of their customers come from Apple.

I think that the shopping spree to Old Navy, has got to be the most ghetto award ever. Total award prize for 2.99 for t-shirts and 10 dollar pants, as a matter of fact I think Old Navy should be not be used for Birthday's, Xmas or any gift giving holidays. Everyone shops there( Cause it's cheap) and everyone looks the same.

It's a sad to say that even though I took today off for some needed rest, I still woke up early got on a conference call and pissed off my assistant manager. To ease the day I took the family to Woodbury Commons, an outlet mall in upstate New York, today may of been sunny but way too cold to be in an outside mall.

I did get a bargain with a Timex TMX2 mp3 player. This should comfort my music needs until June, when I expect to be the proud owner of an ipod. My Archos player died this weekend, and to my dismay I lost 10 gigs of music. Oh well, back to square one. The only part that really ticks me off is a rare track by me online friend.

Got this from Slashdot, Live Anime. Casshern looks to be
what the Matrix might have been had a Japanese director don it. Although Us
Americans love Anime, Robots and gadgets the Japanese live with it, so it comes
naturally for them to film about Robot fighters ( Robotech, Gundam) or cool
fighting scenes. Well Check out the trailer http://www.apple.co.jp/quicktime/trailers/casshern_large.html

I hope everyone who can vote, will vote this year. Bush has got to go, we can’t afford the lies and corruption in this administration. Currently we are living in a country that can label you a non-patriotic bastard (Aka terrorist) and arrest you, give you a trial with no legal representation and claim it was a patriot’s act.

Folks don’t know or refuse to believe that a simple act like the Patriots has placed this country one step closer to being a religious fundamentalist state, like those we have invaded. Many a times have I told my father how lucky I was to raise my kids in a free country, I would of never of believe that it was taken away.

Even the principles of this great nation like Freedom of Speech, are being taken away. Don’t believe that when the FCC’s Powell says it wants to “reduce indecent content” from radio and TV, he doesn’t also mean your personal content. For Years we have criticized countries like China for prohibiting certain web pages from its people, only to have it happen here under the guise of indecent content. Content on things like say a “BLOG” could be deemed indecent and fined, don’t believe me check this out.

I purchased the DVD today, again I'm not sure why I like this movie so much; but it has filled some void missing in Hollywood. The simple movie with none of the traditional film clichés, Bill Murray is fantastic and the Karaoke is contagious.

This film gives me the same feeling I got from the Beach or American Psycho, not the nicest folks, but you can't help but care for them.

My older daugthers 3 Leprechaun wishes.

1. Butler to do everything she tells him/her to do.
2. a flying car that turns into a bus
3. A movie with her in it.

she also wants green.......Money!!!

Good TV night, American Idol was pretty good tonight. It was soul night and for a while it looked like the white folks needed some help. The Pencil guy was good, but he’s got to stop dancing. The little Frankie Sinatri ( misspelling on purpose) was good too, I liked the fact that he didn’t bother to sing it soulfully, but made it his own. Randy was nuts tonight.

But Jasmine was the best of the night, she reminds me of every other flip I know; and I was happy to see she’s not only cute but can sing. The other flip didn’t do as well, but showed ass (well her walking in a bikini on the beach) and I can’t dismiss Filipino ass ;)

Queer Eye was great too, I was emotional with Jay at the end. Sniff Sniff.

And Cat from TechTv was on Howard Stern last week, tonight they are showing it on E!. Good it was hot, and to think that her current best friend is Morgan(Although she’s currently doesn’t look as good as when she was a blond).

Friday Five

1. What was the last song you heard?
Depeche Mode's "Route 66" mix

2. What were the last two movies you saw?
"cheaper by the dozen" & "elf" as you can tell I'm a dad.

3. What were the last three things you purchased?
An Ibook, an Aircard and chinese food

4. What four things do you need to do this weekend?
Clean-Up house, new speakers in car, update software and watch some anime with the girls.

5. Who are the last five people you talked to?
Jo, Richi, Rick, Helen and miss Easy. ( not counting phone whom would include Gustavo, my dad, Carmine and Karina or customers who are I couldn't remember if I wanted)

I got and Ibook

Saw a great bargain, a 12" screen 800 mhz Ibook. And I forgot how great it is to work on the Mac, I haven't touch my Imac in a while so I was a bit rusty( not). I used the Panter CD to upgrade my Imac too, and added Garageband. If I count the software and the Ibook together I made a great killing.

On the bad side the fact that I have no more room, means I have to get rid of some of my old hardware. In the past I have given my older systems to my family, I have given both my dad and my sister systems. My dad has a kick ass system now, although it's dragging because he doesn't have high speed internet ( Modems arghhhh).

I've gotten the Anime fever once more, after watching Bebop again I brought some other collections and films. Currently I'm watching Bezerk a crazy medieval anime, with more violence than a John Woo film. In order to include my kids I purchased the Ghibli Studio collection, which BTW is fantastic. Having a region free DVD player has it's advantages, cheap DVD collections from Asia is one of them.

I also found a place in North Brunswick that sells good quality Martial Arts flicks for seven bucks. I get this fever every other year, best part it's cheap.

On another note, I love Lost In Translation; it's a great film with great lines. I can see why everyone was talking about it. I had missed it originally when the local art house was playing it. But I'm glad I got to see it before every Tom, Dick and Harry would kill the story for me. Bill Murray deserves much of the credit; you can tell that many of the lines said came from him.

Amarosa YOU'RE FIRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, it's about time.

Upper deck will be carrying MLS cards this year. I can't wait to begin my Metrostars collection, and my under 20, wait ......etc........ I want to make sure Upper deck knows Soccer fans will buy and trade their products. Let's all do the same.

Well I guess American Idol has officially jumped the shark, cause I couldn't give a shit about the contestants. I like reject Hung, but other than that nothing is really memorable. The only reason for me to even tune-in is to see the two flips on the show.

Cause if you didn't know by now, I have a thing for Filipinas (or in this case Hawaiian, Irish, etc… mix). My wife doesn't like my admitting my weakness, but she knows a beautiful natural tan, exotic faces and a dash of latina is hard for me to resist (as in turning my head to stare at, not chasing after!! I am married you know).

Steroid in Baseball, why ban the one thing that makes this sport even watchable? The most boring game in the planet needs to have some steroid hitting nuts.

I think it was Leno who said that Soccer & Hockey needed some roids, you can always tell who's sports ignorant.

OK, this qualifies as the strangest email. My online celeb friend had turned over my email to his propaganda machine( he's political an will like the reference). But today just now I got an email about my opinion on Jessica Simpson, I emailed about my religios watching of the Newlyweds. At this point he IM's back, so yes we are both watching the show. And we both comment on Jessica's pregnancy rumor.

He also mentions how MTV wanted to do a similar show with him, but his Senator Kerry plans for this year wouldn't allow it.

Ladies and gentlemen it William Hung tonight on Tv!!!!!!!! She Bangs, She Bangs.

Wow, those images and clips from Haiti could be from South Africa. From Shanti homes, to chants on the road all this 60 miles from the mainland.

It's a shame how the US, wanted the bloodshed to continue there as in S. Africa ( actually congo), why send troops to an oil filled country before civil unrest, but only after it's over do we send anyone to Haiti or S. Africa.

LOTR CLEAN SWEEP AT THE OSCARS!!!!!!!! Well deserved.
