I just saw Osama and wow. Sometimes we forget how unfair the world is, and how sometimes death is better than living.

Listening to Dr. Wayne Dyer lately, I haven't been a followers of his teachings, but a recent PBS special has made a fan. He has a way of telling you stories that make's a person treasure what we allready have.

A cool concept is that all we are is our thoughts, my physical body transforms during my life cycle. I was a small baby who's weight was less that 20 pounds at one time. Then I was a teenager with pimples now I'm older with a weight that surrounds my belly. Science has told us that every two years I have a new body, because every cell in my physical body dies withing two years being replace by a new one ( remember this when your think about that illness that you've had for so many years).

So if my body is completely different every two years then what makes me is the the corpal figure, but my thoughts. Because I can remember what I did when I was young, my thoughts are what makes me. So when someone dies they really don't die, cause you can't kill a thought. It's a way of thinking about the metaphysical without the mystery.

A new Pope has been elected, and after a few long weeks, it's clear to me how powerful the church still is. Sometimes we become jaded by what we see in the US, but when the Pope passed away and we saw the incredible pilgrimage of people from around the world it was clear the this 1.2 billion strong religion isn't a thing that's going to pass by.

The funeral images of Israel, Iran and other world leaders sitting next to each other was a strong point, about the power the church has.

The new German Pope is a conservative man, who doesn't flip flop, and doesn't care about the US. His goal is to bring back the old Europe catholics. This may be the best thing for US catholics, since the US is the only one with so many headaches and so many requests.

Yes, my wife and I will be at a live taping of little Jimmy Norton for HBO. Should be a good night full of improper jokes and lotsa sausages. I told my wife she may be the only chick in the group, besides the crazy hags from O&A.

I guess I should write some updates as to what's going on in my life, at least for my family and friends in far off places;) Well I finally picked up the car from PA, it's a 1996 Plymouth neon. It drove great from there to my home, it's only drawback is the peeling paint from the top of the car.

My kids where in a play this past week, and Jasmine had some stagework. It's always great to see the kids have fun and be involve in the school activities.

I've been smoking some good cigars lately, Fonseca's and excaliburs. These are very good smokes.

I've also been stuck in some bad traffic ( weather and non weather related delays)

While picking up the car we also did some shopping and got some sun.

The tides of change are upon us, and once again in my life it seems like change must occur. Not the drastic type that changes the lives of a person or the ones around him ( or her), but more of the change in comfort levels.

Jo has gone back to work in a different field, she's done some drastic changes in her career from Nurse to bookkeeper and now teaches assistant. I hope this is a better career for her that with God's help will lead her into a permanent position in a school.

It was Monica's birthday this past weekend, and although I tried my best to make it a good b-day it didn't turn out as planned. Actually the plan was the mistake, I hope she still enjoyed the gift we got her and the activities we did.

Next weekend I pick-up the car I won online, Jo is nervous about driving two hours back from PA to NJ. I drive that and more in a day so I can't feel pity ;(

At work I'm loosing another employee, it's nice that folks "don't leave me" but leave for other reasons. It's still a pain to be short another person. BTW they are leaving for more money, but it's like making a deal with the devil this place will own her soul ;)

On a spiritual note, the Pope has passed away this weekend. I don't have much to say other than hopefully the positive will be remembered and not the divisive bull. I hope a pope goes up there who believes in stem cell research, speaks out about the religious right and their fanatical approach to life and freedom and let the gays have their day. It would also be nice if they could stop all the child abuse they do, but this will never happen. The Vatican is an institution that never changes unless it's to crusade a non-catholic country.
