If you saw the Wachovia commercial about a dad who called the branch manager on xmas day because he forgot to get his kids passport from the safe deposit, it seems like the bank went out of their way to get guy in the bank and into the safe deposit.
Well let me tell you what happened, he called the branch manager, who told him the vault is on a timer so there is nothing they could do. The guy went the next day ( the bank reopens on the 26th) and had access, the same access everyone else has.

Wachovia did nothing special, but the commercial make you feel good.
